I was very excited to make and taste this dish. First, you can't taste the shrimp in the roll. Second, two leaves of basil and two if mint were overpowring in this dish. Lastly, the rice paper tasted rubbery and felt like sticky plastic. I would make it again but leave out one of the leaves. Also I would put more shrimp inside the roll.

The summer rolls were alright, however the sauce was disappointing. I wouldn't make this recipe again.

This turned out amazingly good, but I didn't have the patience to make small ones so my rolls overfloweth with "goodness" and the rice paper ripped. It was still delish and the sauce was perfect. It tasted exactly like what I order at my favorite Thai restaurant on the beach, but was a little time consuming to make. Will definately make again, but will not become a staple because I like quick and easy, meals. Definately worth remaking....would be a fun date meal to prepare.
