this salad was AMAZING from the dressing to the part skim monzerella it was a true winner !! Me and my grandma made it together !!PERFECT!!!

This salad is perfect with grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella and pecans. Yum! I presented the salad in a glass bowl in layers: romaine, fresh mozzarella cubes, strawberries and then basil (chicken and pecans on the side. Tossed the salad right before serving, with dressing on the side--undressed leftovers have kept well in the frig for 2 days!

This salad was not only beautiful to look at, but a wonderful taste sensation. It's the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Who would have known something so easy to make would be so appealing. The simple balsamic dressing marries so well with the strawberries. I, too, like others, marinated the strawberries for a few minutes before placing them on top of each salad. I finished my salads off with glazed pecan pieces. I did make the mistake of adding the cheese into the salad when I dressed it. The presentation would have been prettier if I had not done that. Next time, I will put the diced cheese on top! to compliment the red, juicy berries! This is a definite keeper!

I served this salad with a frittata for brunch -- it could not have been better or easier. Thanks again to Ellie for all she does to make healthy eating so delicious!!!

i absolutely love this salad. i changed it up a bit and added feta cheese instead of mozzarella and also threw in some sliced almonds. it is perfect to bring to a summer picnic and is always a crowd pleaser.

THIS WAS EASY TO MAKE, USE A GOOD QUALITY BALSAMIC. I have also made this salad with crubled Goat Cheese and added grilled chicken laid on the top. You can also add bananas or kiwi at the end. Will definately make overr and over!!!

It would be a better salad if a different viniagrette was used. It's a great combo but needs a little crunch by adding some nuts and also adding a different balsamice viniagrette recipe and more of it.
