I wanted to try something different for my husband birthday weekend. He's not use to trying different varieties of food but once he tried the Stuffed Turkey burger he loved it. It was very moist & flavorful the best turkey burger we ever had cause usually they be rather dry ;- thanks

I always try to find alternative other than beef, and this one actually worked. The spices not overwhelmed the original taste of turkey, but it enhanced the texture a lot, not dry! As an added bonus, it is quite simple, compare to other recipe I found that scientifically try to improve the texture and preserve the original taste of turkey. I made my own roasted red pepper and followed this Ellie's recipe exactly the same. Everybody at home (who get use to eat hamburger, brisket, steak, meatloaf, ALL beef like it a lot!

Hallelujah! A way to make ground turkey taste sensational, and my husband who is famously known for being a picky eater liked it! If you use dry herbs, make sure you use a third of what the recipe calls for. I heard that on Rachel Ray's show, and wish I would have known that a LONG time ago. Sorry - new chef in the making!

I was surprised to find that these burgers were actually quite good! After my husband and I ate, we didn't feel loaded down and greasy like we do when we eat a normal hamburger. I will make these again!

This recipe didn't have the most flavor. It is very healthy but I think some seasoning can really spice it up

Why do "reviewers" rate recipes that they have changed from the original and give the recipe 5 stars? It's either awful/good/great as it stands; don't change it and then say how good it is!

My husband and I have tried a variety of turkey burger recipes, but never feel fully satisfied with the end result. This recipe saves the reputation of turkery burgers. So moist and favorful!! I made it exactly per the directions/ingredients. I may experiment again with some of the other reviewers suggestions. But, in my opinion, this recipe is amazing, AS IS. I can't wait for tomorrow's lunch-leftovers. :

I love recipes like this. So incredibly simple, it make me go "why didn't I think of that?". And you can really play around with it and substitute just about anything in the middle of your burgers. Awesome!

I made this for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I seasoned the meat with season salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and worcestershire sauce. I didn't have roasted red pepper, so I just added a plain red pepper and a little Trader Joe's red pepper sauce with eggplant and garlic. Sprinkle skim mozzarella cheese, put on wheat bun, delicious! I didn't even add any condiments or sauces. Very good. This will be a weekly meal.
