My family loved the turkey burgers. I seasoned the meat proir to stuffing. I also used reduced fat smoked gouda instead of the mozzarella. They were loved by the kids (4 and 8 year old. Easy weeknight meal!

WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO EAT MORE HEALTHY THIS YEAR AND WAS NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH GROUND TURKEY... THIS RECIPIE IS SO SIMPLE TO MAKE AND TASTES FANTASTIC... THE ROASTED RED PEPPERS GIVE GREAT FLAVOR AND THE CHEESE GIVES JUST ENOUGH MOISTNESS FOR A JUICY BURGER. MY HUSBAND LOVED THEM SO WE'RE HAVING THEM TONIGHT!!!

I make Turkey Burgers all the time and Have for 10 years plus. We follow a lower carb lifestyle in our house and these are a treat for us to eat, without the bun of course! I add in minced garlic, roasted peppers, ricotta, sharp cheddar, salt, pepper, minced onion. They are so yummy and I pan sear them, then put them in a 350 deg oven for 30 minutes this seals in the juices and they are delicious.

I added a couple tablespoons of soy sauce to the meat along with the salt and pepper and mushed it all together before making the patties. They were juicy, flavorful and just plain delicious!! If your eating better to lose weight, then soy sauce is a must!! Can't believe these burgers are only 275 calories! Will definitely make these again...

Yes we loved it! Thanks to other reviewers' suggestions, we did add finely chopped shallots, garlic, and bread crumbs to meat mixture before forming patties. I didn't think it was too dry. They are pretty thick, but five mins on each side was really all they needed. We loved the recipe and have already passed it on to a friend. Great recipe and an easy weeknight meal.

my family and i have been looking for ways to eat a healthier meal that would still fill us up, which means we were trying turkey burgers as a new addition. We were all a little nervous and didnt know what to expect so i hoped on here and decided to try this recipe since it was simple and had ingredients that i knew we already liked. We have eaten it several times since then and it's a hit every time!!!

This was delicious! I don't eat red meat, so this was a great compromise for my carnivore husband & myself! I did tweek it a little bit, I added onion, garlic, orange pepper, and bread crumbs to the burgers. They were fantastic! I also put some EVOO & Italian seasoning on the buns and grilled them for a minute. I actually don't have a grill, but the griddle on Med-Low heat works great! I'm definitely saving this one in my recipe book!!!

to deal with the dryness issue, I soaked a piece or two of bread in milk and added it to the ground turkey meat. helps SOOOO much! It makes the burger really moist. All I had was regular old red bell pepper so I diced that and used it and added red onions, garlic, and scallions. It turned out to be a very good burger! :

Not impressed, very dry and flavorless despite the add-ins.

It's tricky to make good burgers from lean ground turkey. I bought the lean ground turkey breast which has very little fat. My burgers were dry and flavorless, despite the add ins from the recipe. And I do like turkey- Ellie's turkey meatballs are divine. Here, i would use ground turkey that had a little more fat. I saw some at Trader Joe's that had 8 grams (somewhere in between the extra lean ground turkey breast and full fat ground turkey.
