I made a ham for dinner with these and Ellie's recipe for dirty broccoli. I cut the fries thin like others have suggested and flipped them after 10 minutes. I only used one large sweet potato and they were done in a little less than 20 minutes. Mine were sweet, a little crispy, and very yummy. My husband loved them and I did too. There were none left after our meal, always a good sign!

I loved the delicious sweet taste. They didn't all get crisp, but were all delicious.
After reading the reviews, I decided to turn the oven down a little to 425? and it made fantastic fries. I topped a salad with the leftovers the next day and that was delicious also.

We watched her make these on tv and they looked crisp and beautiful. I should have known, though, that sweet potatoes never come out that way! Half the fries were burnt to black and the other half were soggy. I cut them evenly too, and I didn't use the little odd-shaped ends, and this happened with me watching them closely. I don't really fault Ms. Krieger--sweet potatoes just don't get very crisp easily. But if you're making this recipe, don't expect something like you'd get with deep frying!

The key to making these is to cut them really really thin...like shoestring potatoes! They are a delicious and healthy cheat treat!!! I'm in heaven!!
350 degrees for about 30 minutes was perfect.

the flavor was good. They were not crunchy, as I expected. The ends of many of them burned... even though i took them out 10 minutes earlier than the recipe called for. I will likely cut them thicker next time.

These were great. Both my husband and I gobbled them up. We had them with the Stuffed Turkey Burgers. Next time I will cook them for about 5 minutes less (a few ended up burned.

I was so happy when I tried this recipe & it turned out so delicious & healthy. We love to order these in a restaurant. I used to order extra & bring them home. Now I make them. My husband & son requested another batch after I made the first one!! Thanks, Ellie for another delicious & healthy recipe.

These fries were really delicious. The only problem that I ran into was that some of them burned while other were still soggy. I will need to pay more attention to how I am cutting them next time. I too made a low fat mayo dip with canola mayo, lemon juice, garlic, and basil. Fantastic thanks!

No matter what ever time i put fries in the oven they always turn out soggy and stuck to the pan. It's frustrating.
