The flavor of this tabulleh is amazing! The fresh mint and parsley are so fresh, while the lemon dressing burst with flavor in your mouth. As for the salt, I used about 1 teaspoon and it was perfect. This recipe is a bit time consuming, but it makes a lot and it is so worth it. It tastes just like the tabulleh from my favorite local Middle Eastern restaurant. I can't wait to try more of Ellie's recipes!

I mixed this with some couscous too-- really good. This is definitely one of those "you eat with your eyes first" dishes

I am Lebanese and I am often amused at attempts to put new twists on traditional fare. However, this is very close to the real deal. Add some olive oil to the bulgar as it tenderizes in the water-it adds flavor. To the writer wanting to use cilantro in place of parsley, I would use equal amounts of both parsley and cilantro.

It tastes like a bowl of parsley and tomatoes. Gets two stars instead of one for healthiness though. Subbing cilantro for the parsley would help it tremendously I bet...wish I had thought of that. As is, it just tastes like diet food at it's worst!

This is perfect for hot summer evenings. Delicious with grilled chicken. I've also added chick peas and feta cheese to it for a meatless dinner.
