This is a great recipe. A few simple additions made it even better for us. We substituted one tsp of veg oil for one tsp of coconut oil. We added one tsp of fish sauce to the chicken broth/coconut milk. We also topped with toasted flaked coconut and a lime wedge for garnish. Delish!

Used sea bass which was equally nice. Light floured and seared each side in a pan until lightly brown and slightly crispy before adding to the liquid and cooking through. Also melted a tab of butter with a TBS or so of flour and added to the sauce to help thicken a bit. Very yummy!

This is spectacular. I've now been eating leftovers for the past two days. I didn't braise the fish, I panfried it crisp and then added it to the broth. I also added some finely shredded mango on top and it brightened it up. Wow.

By far one of my favorite recipes. It's great for those on weight watchers. My only complaint is that I wish it had more coconut flavor. I always have to add a little more coconut milk and curry paste. It's delicious, light, and flavorful. I always make variations of this dish. Sometimes I garnish with a little toasted coconut flakes. YUM!

Made this recently but had to use flounder since it was a spontaneous decision and that's all we had in the freezer! AMAZING! First time my 2 year old ate fish and he gobbled it up. Can't wait to make it again!

Delicious! Tried the recipe tonight with the halibut fillets. The sauce was simply delicious. I added some cayenne pepper for additional heat. The recipe was easy to follow and the timing was spot on. Will definitely try again. I think the sauce will work for chicken or pork as well.

Tasted delicious, especially given that it was very fast and easy. I used flounder because it looked good at the store. I also agreed with other reviewers and used regular coconut milk - every time I have used light coconut milk in a recipe it has not been great. Next time I'll probably add more curry paste for a stronger curry flavor.

I love this dish. I used frozen corvina fillets that I bought at Costco, and they worked out perfectly. The sauce is delicious, with a pleasant amount of heat and lots of flavor. It's a keeper!

Full disclosure..I dont like fish usually, and I am not related to Ellie. Just like all of Ellie's dishes I have made, this dish is a super star. I used Wild Mahi as that is what was fresh. I didnt do the spinach but used basmati brown rice as a base. Probably the only thing I would change is to cut back on the broth to make more of a sauce like consistency..I got there but had to boil it down. I miss Ellies show so much. Where did she go??
