Not bad, but NO chili! I added chorizo, spicy italian sausage and potatoes to suit our family's taste. Real good, but again NOT chili.

Sorry, but you should not even call this Chili. It has no chile peppers or chili powde or chili flavor. You should call it chipotle & bean spaghetti sauce with all those tomatoes, beans and just a little beef. What a dissapointment from a pretty good chef. Not a bad dish, but defenitely not chili.

Made this and thought it was a little bland so I added another tsp of cumin, 15 oz diced tomatoes, 1/2 can tomato juice and another 2 tsp adobo sauce. Not too spicy - just right!

This was the best chili I have made in a very long time. Good for a variety of people's taste. Put a bottle of chipolte hot sauce next to the pot so everyone can kick it up a notch if desired. I doubled the beef and the chipotle peppers and it came just right. Easy and very delicious.

A good, mild chili. If I do it again, I would probably make it spicier.

Extremely easy to make and tastes wonderful. I did add a little chili powder to spice it up.

Absolutely delicious! Very easy and extremely flavorful. Used a little less adobe sauce for the kids. Would have been too spicy for them. My entire family loved it and it's not easy to please all of them at one time!

As usual, Ellie didn't let us down. This was a great chili. I had some Penzey's Chili 9000 chili powder, so I put about a tablespoon of that in there. I only had black beans so I put in two cans and tossed in a diced sweet potato for good measure. I used minced venison in place of the beef. My husband said it was the best chili he'd ever had.

I was a bit skeptical but decided to try it out and love it! I did, however, add a can of small white beans as well (4-bean chili, 2 minced garlic cloves, extra cumin, an extra chipotle pepper and 2 extra teaspoons of adobe sauce. I also added lots of chili powder as I LOVE my chili really spicy. The recipe failed to mention to drain the beans and rinse them off, which is why I think a lot of people said it was not thick enough. If you watch the video, she tells you to drain and rinse them. I'll definiely make this again!
