I made this today to accompany some chicken burgers for dinner. After one bite I knew we had a keeper. This relish is so versatile! You could add cilantro/jalapeno and swap the balsamic for lime juice and use it as a pico de gallo; swap the oregano for fresh mint and use it as a middle-eastern inspired topping (it's classic on felafel. And to the reviewer who said it was bland...um, you could add a bit more seasoning you know.

I made this relish today ( as well as the Garlic Fries-Yum. Great taste combination. The red pepper was an interesting addition to what I normally make. The dicing took the longest, but what a great presentation. My husband liked the dish and I will be making it again. Thanks Ellie for helping me to cook better for my family!

I made this as a full meal (the steak, grilled onions, relish and garlic fries and LOVED the entire meal. The flavor on the steak was delicious and spicy, the grilled onions and relish were great alongside the steak and the fries were AWESOME (they definitely rival the traditional fried version.

Really enjoyed this relish with the cowboy steak from the same show. The relish would be really good in all kinds of dishes.

great as side dish or salad. Add chopped parsley to it and toss with lemon juice instead of Balsamic.

So easy to make and so delicious!! My teenage girls loved it on bagel crisps and by the spoonful! I added 1 diced banana pepper, seeded, and 1/4 cup diced red onion for extra flavor.

Wow, I was impressed on how it looked but it had no taste so I thought ok, the next day it will have flavor - it just had no taste. Even my husband who will eat almost everthing told me to throw it out. I don't know why it was rated so high, I made it exactly as specified in the directions. Oh well, I've made other dishes of Ellies and they've been good.
