Even though I couldn't find whole wheat pastry flour... I used whatever whole wheat flour I found at the store... great cookie!

I liked the fact that they had whole wheat and they tasted great! They also didn't need much sugar... more recipes like this, please!

I was really excited to make these cookies because I love healthy baking. Unfortunately, only 2 of the 30 or so people who tried these cookies actually liked them. When I made the batter, it wasn't chocolatey enough, so I added a little extra cocoa. Still, when they baked, they just didn't have the rich, chocolate taste I was looking for. I think it had to do with using canola oil instead of butter. Also, the whole wheat flour made them really dense. Even one of my friends who bakes almost exclusively with whole wheat flour and never uses butter thought these were lacking in flavor. Sorry Ellie! I tried...
I just think it's better to make the "real deal" and eat fewer.

These were so easy and turned out great. I am definatly a novice at cookie making and these were a snap. I used semi-sweet chips in the place of milk chocolate and loved the flavor.

These were very easy to make, and really good! A lot of times when "healthy" factors are added to a recipe, it ruins them, but not in this case. I used ghiridelli cocoa and Trader's Joe's chocolate.
Just so you know, they a really soft when they come out of the oven. Be very careful transfering to cooling rack. They will be fine once cooled. Soft, chewy, and delicious!

These cookies are easy and delicious - make sure you use the wheat flour (don't go with all white and use 1/2 oil and 1/2 butter just as the recipe calls for!
These cookies are excellent!
