The meatballs were good. There wasn't much sauce for me. I prefer to double it or use half the pasta.

I thought this recipe was pretty good. I loved the flavor of the chipotle in the sauce, i would have never thought that chipotle peppers would go well in a spaghetti sauce. The meatballs were very delicious, plump and juicy. The only problems i had were the rosemary and fire roasted tomatoes. Although I enjoyed the flavors, I did not enjoy them texture wise. I did'nt like the fact that the tomatoes had skin on them and the rosemary's needle like leaves were poking my mouth :(. Perhaps next time i can use skinless tomatoes and omit the rosemary. Is there another way of getting the rosemary flavor with out the leaves getting in the sauce?

Love this recipe! My husband likes a thinner sauce, so I puree the tomatoes and onion. Also, while I loved the carrots in the meatball my husband did not. Next time I'm thinking of either doing a finer chop to the carrots than grating or maybe just add a few tsp of carrot puree.

This is a great meatball recipe. I usually make about 5 recipes of the turkey mixture at a time because my husband loves these as burgers so I freeze a lot of them. The only modification I make is that I use half ground lean turkey meat and half ground turkey breast. I even like it this way and I'm not a fan of ground turkey. I have not tried the sauce as I just use one of my own favorites.

Very tastey, after making this sauce I've decided to stop using jar sauce. This recipe was fast and easy, and completely affordable. We enjoyed every bite.

My new go to sauce for sure. I used Soy meatballs already made from Trader Joes. They defrost in the sauce in the last 15 min of cooking. I seriously love meat, and I was quite satisfied. The meatballs break down into a meat sauce that will satisfy the heartyest eater. And its healthy!! Ellies Sauce has enough spice that it hides the lack of "real" meat.

The turkey meatballs are fabulous! I wasn't a big fan of the rosemary or thyme, they were too strong for my liking. I didn't add the chipotle in adobe because I don't like it so my pasta wasn't spicy. I meant to add red pepper flakes in its place but I forgot. I put my sauce in my VitaMix machine because I don't like chunky tomato sauce (my store only had canned diced fire roasted tomatoes, not crushed. I would have probably put it the sauce in my VitaMix machine even if I did use the crushed tomatoes. I like more sauce on my pasta than this recipe allowed for so next time I'm going to cut the pasta serving size in half...we had a TON of leftovers.
