Great recipe! The meatballs were delicious and the sauce had a little kick.

And this recipe delivers. Between the fire roasted tomatoes, fresh herbs, and the chipotle chillies, there is strong flavor here. It is a wonderfully healthful recipe and kudoes to Ellie Krieger for delivering a great dish. However, after trying 3 very different dishes with chipotle chillies in adobo sauce, from 3 different chefs, I have concluded that I really don't like the flavor. If you like the flavor of chipotle chilies, you will love this recipe.

Even though I overcooked the meatballs, we absolutely loved this recipe! I added an extra 14 oz can of tomatoes to compensate for my dry meatballs. We ate every last bit of it, and I'm adding it to my permanent collection.

This recipe required too much work for disappointing results. I've made turkey meatballs using other recipes that were a whole lot easier and faster to make and weren't so overpowering with fresh herbs like this recipe was. I won't be making this recipe again.

This recipe tastes amazing! I love meatballs and these are some really good ones. I like to cook healthy and I've found that there are some things that work well with turkey and some things that just don't. This works well and is very filling so you can feel good about eating it, without overdoing it on the pasta. I'll definitely make it again and again.

I just started getting into cooking and this recipe proved to be perfect for a novice. The prep time took about 45 min for me but I'm sure that a more experienced cook could do it in 30 min or less. What was really great was that I made a few mistakes (not as much parsley, put the thyme in the sauce instead of the meatballs, etc but the meal still turned out delicious. Overall, I hope to make this a staple in our household.

Loved these meatballs but didn't have all the ingredients in the house so I made a few substitutions..... I added several leaves of fresh basil and substituted finely grated zuchinni for the carrots. I also substituted crushed organic rolled oats for the wheat bread crumbs. My son and husband loved the meatballs and didn't know they were eating veggies! A big hit; I will definitely make this again. Fantastic!

I have made this recipe countless times. It's very tasty and the heat is just perfect. Some friends have said those are the best spaghettis they have ever had. I have made a lot of Ellie's recipes and loved them all but this is her best. That might explain why it is in the cover of her book.

Absolutely flavorful!!, for you sauce lovers, double the sauce recipe. 2 cans of fire roasted tomatoes and 2 cans of regular diced tomatoes helped to satisfy the "not too spicy" members in my family. ENJOY!!

My boyfriend claimed to dislike basil and carrots--he LOVED this dish. You cannot taste the carrots at all, but do not leave them out. The meatballs are so moist and perfect with them. I made this dish exactly how the recipe states--except I used dried spices for the most part. I did use fresh basil and rosemary. (I also added a few drips of tabasco sauce at the end to bump up the spice just a little.
I make food network dishes often--this is the best one I have made to date.
