The turkey meatballs are so moist and delicious and the sauce is full of such complex flavors. Put these two together and you have a tasty and very satisfying pasta dish. I am a big fan of chipotle peppers en adobo, and in this dish, it adds a little spice coupled with a deep rich flavor. I used one whole pepper which is probably closer to 1 Tablespoon. I will definitely make this recipe again and again. The meatballs and sauce would be great in a sub sandwich also!

I love this recipe. I am not a great cook but it was really simple to make. I loved the spices and herbs in the sauce and meatballs. The serving sizes were filling unlike some serving portions. I would definitely recommend this recipe for any cook and any occasion.

Everyone at my house loved this! We now have Ellie's spaghetti and meatballs at least once a week. Thank you for giving us a healthy alternative to a normally heavy meal. We love you, Ellie!

This is my new "go to" spaghetti sauce, I make a double batch and freeze some for later. The fire roasted tomatoes make it superb. I found them (Muir Glen in the organic section of the regular grocery store, a little expensive ($2.89 but worth the flavor! As for the meatballs, the best I ever made and so healthy for you. My teenage boys and husband loved them. I also make this without the spaghetti to make the meatball subs, soooo delicious! Thanks Ellie! Please give her more TV time, we need the healthy but tasty recipes that she provides so perfectly! Everything is so quick and easy to prepare!

These meatballs are great tasting! They're pretty fast and easy to make also. We didn't finish them in the sauce, but just broiled them longer and they still turned out great.

Thanks for a new, healthy twist on an old favorite!

My husband and I have been trying to eat alot healthier lately so I've been trying alot of Ellie Kreiger's recipes and this one I tried last week and it was a HUGE hit. Eating well never tasted so good. I probably negated all the healthy benefits by eating at least 3 servings but I just couldn't stop! It's a quick prepare and serves alot. Try it, you won't be sorry.

I only made the meatballs and served with whole wheat pasta and jarred sauce (time saver. The meatballs were delicious! Even my boyfriend (loves red meat said he's a big fan and would rather have the turkey version. I didn't have any fresh thyme so I used dried and cut it back to 1 teaspoon. Also, I added 2 tablespoons of ketchup as I was afraid the breadcrumbs may make it too dry. They came out delicious and moist. A new favorite. Next time, I'll double the recipe and make some to freeze.

My Italian husband made these for our grandson. Was I ever surprised when he said, after he tasted them, that he would gladly substitute them for our beef, pork and veal fried meatballs! He did, however, cut back a bit on the thyme.

very tasty and easy to prepare meal. I like the simple, step by step instructions that make it almost impossible to make an error. I loved the chipotle en andano - an ingredient I never knew existed that added a comfortable level of spice.

For the meatballs, instead of using carrots, I used a package of frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dried. Broiling was a great idea to brown the meatballs without getting your stove all greasy. I flipped the meatballs and browned the other side for another 8 minutes. I can't wait to try the leftover meatballs and sauce for the hero sandwiches. I am so glad that Food Network finally came up with a healthy cooking program. I wish they would add other shows like a gourmet vegetarian program.
