We were watching your show yesterday as I was making breakfast and I told my husband to turn the volume up. He said "I want that for dinner...I really want spaghetti." I've made turkey meatballs before, but not like these. Your recipe was FULL of flavor. We've tried two of your recipes so far and my husband loves all of them. He liked the meatballs so much he told me to be prepared to keep making them. Tonight we are making those delicious turkey burgers stuffed with green olives. Thank you so much for your great ideas and recipes! I hope your show continues with more creative and healthy ideas. Thank you for saving our dinners Ellie!

Maybe I used the wrong kind of ground turkey (the recipe doesn't specify, so I used ground turkey breast, and the meatballs were dry and flavorless! The 93/7 turkey would probably be better, but even with that, I really thought the meatballs needed some more flavor. Maybe some garlic powder, more cheese...something! IF I make this again (and given my husband's reaction, that's a big IF!, I would probably cook them less under the broiler and cook them in the sauce for longer.

On the plus side, the sauce was quite tasty. I really liked the fire roasted tomatoes. My grocery store only had one 14 oz. can of fire roasted tomatoes left, so I used that and a 28 oz can of regular crushed tomatoes and added some crushed red pepper.

We tried this and it is wonderfull. Full of flavor and you will want to make this more than once. In the past 2 weeks we have made this twice.

I didn't really like the marinara - but I am not a meatball person and love these.
    Really great.

I made this for the first time on a cold winter's night recently. Perfect February meal! We loved it, including my three year old. The meatballs are very satisfying and full of interesting flavors, including the grated carrot. I did find it time-consuming to make, though. Will definitely pull this one out again when I have some time on my hands.

My husband and I loved this recipe. He is very picky when it come to using ground turkey, and he raved about this. The meatballs had so much flavor and were so tender. This is a repeat recipe!

This recipe was fantastic! Like many other reviewers, I added an extra 14 oz can of fire roasted tomatoes and a little extra tomato paste. The meatballs were so moist and flavorful, even though I had cooked them completely the night before and reheated them in the sauce. Even my children, who dislike beef meatballs, loved them! I also added a little extra chipotle, while my husband loved it, I may go a little lighter next time for my own taste. I will definitely be making this again.

I just made this tonight and my teenager kept eating the meatballs before I could get them into the sauce. They are wonderful by themselves. I wish I would have bought another can or fire roasted tomatoes because there does not seem to be enough sauce after it cooks down. lLove the adobe and used more than the recipe called for. ABSOULTELY DELICOUS!!!
