I made this recipe a couple of weeks ago and it turned out great. The only thing I substituted was craisins for raisins.

This oatmeal is the best. Easy and really delicious. I'll be making it often, even for overnight company.

This has become a breakfast staple! What a great way to wake up tired oatmeal and in a healthy way. I use cranberries sometimes instead of raisins and the taste is equally as good.

This recipe was surprisingly good! I substituted dried blueberries, 1/2 Splenda, and fat free Half & Half to top it. I don't even like walnuts, but I tried it anyway and was not at all disappointed. Fantastic recipe. Very highly recommended... :

After a few years of everyone telling me, they didn't like oatmeal I decided to spring this on them one Saturday morning. To my surprise everyone enjoyed it.

One suggestion, check your box for cooking instructions, after five minutes my Oatmeal was still to waterier. My box suggested medium heat versus low in Ellie's instructions. I turned up the heat and everything worked out.

Just tried this and its just as Ellie described...all the flavors of an oatmeal cookie. I think its the best bowl of oatmeal I've ever had.

Made this for the first time, and loved it. I'm used to eating oatmeal with loads of butter and brown sugar, but this was so flavorful that I didn't miss the unhealthy extras too much. I subbed sliced almonds for the walnuts, though I look forward to trying the recipe as written.

I didn't think I would like oatmeal but hearing how good it is for you, I thought I'd give it a try. I made this recipe but substituted frozen blueberries for the raisins. It was really good. Now, I'm sure to add oatmeal to my mornings on a regular basis!

As I was making this I thought I would surely be adding more sugar with only 2T brown sugar divided over 4 servings. That was probably closer to what I would put in one serving of plain oatmeal. But I was pleasantly suprised...this oatmeal was perfect. I also put mine in individual containers and reheat. I mix the walnuts and mix and everything in before I put in the fridge.

The cherry vanilla oatmeal is also equally delicious.
