I love love love this recipe. The only thing I do differently is make a slurry out of Masa and water to thicken the broth. Makes it thicker plus adds mucho flavor.

Pretty good if you're in the mood for a light chili. The lime and greek yogurt are a must, though.

Delicious!!! Thanks Ellie for this hearty & healthy chili. I'm not usually a fan of white Chili's, but my husband and I loved this. I did have a hard time finding hominy, I think if you live in the south its easier to find. I topped with avocado slices along with the cilantro, yogurt, and lime!!! Can't wait for leftovers!!!!

Love this chili, find myself craving it. I did make a couple changes. I substituted one poblano with a red bell pepper for color and added a hot pepper (jalapeno-like from a neighbor's garden. I also added some smoked paprika (~ 1/2 tsp. for added flavor. Did find the chili a little thin, so I pureed a third can of beans and added it. This thickened the chili nicely. I am now wondering about adding some tomatillos, think I'll give that a try next time.

Thanks Ellie, I've had great success with your recipes that I've tried!

My husband said this recipe was a keeper. Even my brother loved it and went back for seconds. I wonder if he knew ground turkey was in it. I didn't tell...I made Ellie's Fried Rice with Scallions, Edamame and Tofu last night. It was a keeper as well. Keep those delicious recipes coming Ellie. You are such an inspiration. I found this recipe on the other cooking channel where I could not find any reviews (or did I miss them there? So, I come back to this website before I make the recipe to see what other people thought or changes they may have made.

This was very good but I did use half white ground chicken breast and half ground dark chicken, just for more flavor and honestly, it probably didn't even need it. The chili was super flavorful on it's own and I'm sure it's even better today. You know how chili always seems to be better the day after you make it. My hands are hurting from the Poblanos though. The winter makes my hands dry and the spice from the Poblanos irritated them for hours. I never knew Poblanos had some heat to them. Perfect heat though, not spicy like a jalapeno!

This is a DELICIOUS recipe - don't feel constrained to follow the amounts of the ingredients exactly as it's listed...you can't really mess it up...love veggies? Add more! It is one of my absolute favorite soups to make - my husband LOVES it (a year ago he wouldn't eat soup at all!

This is my new favorite soup!! The broth has such a great flavor, which I think can be credited to the hominy of all things. I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I did, I was just looking for a quick dinner idea. I will definitely be making it again and again!!

I love this recipe! It is one of my all-time favorite soup recipes. I made a couple changes and made it with shredded chicken instead of turkey and it turned out great. I will be making this again and again. I even featured it on my food blog along with the changes I made here http://damegoodeats.blogspot.com/2010/12/chili-week-white-chili.html
