Yummy! I love to try new recipes and loved this one. You definitely need to serve with the yogurt and lime because if not, the chili will taste like it is missing a layer of flavor. My infant and toddlers inhaled this, which I was very surprised about. And, more importantly, my husband said, this is different, but I love it! Can't get better than that.
I did substitute green chilies for the poblanos since my grocery store didn't have any in stock and it was still great!

This was absolutely delicious! I do agree with the other reviewer who said it wasn't the prettiest dish but who cares because it tastes great. Plus, the cilantro, yogurt, and lime wedges at the end did add a nice touch! I had never cooked with poblano peppers before but I was glad I did- they were delish! I re-heated this for lunch/dinner for the next couple of days and it tasted just as good reheated as it did freshly made. Definitely a keeper and you must make this!

I didn't use the Poblano peppers as I don't like anytihing hot, I replaced with green peppers. My Husband's comment: " that was pretty daggone good" and
" that recipe is difinantly a keeper recipe"! I will be fixing White Chili again!
Thanks Ellie!

I substituted 2 leftover chicken breasts for the ground turkey. I cut it into chunks and them slow cooked everything in my crock pot!

Did a little ingredient swapping due to availability:
Had a ton of roasted turkey breast leftover so used that in place of the ground turkey - added it when I added the broth
Couldn't find poblanos so used 2 jalepenos
Couldn't find hominy so used canned corn
Didn't have coriander so omitted it
AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. Cooked up quick with tons of flavor. LOVE what the lime and cilantro did for it as a finish - wouldn't leave that out.
It's more a cross between chili and broth soup but that doesn't bother me. This one's a keeper and a great way to use up extra turkey/chicken that you have around as leftovers.

I made this last night for dinner and the family loved it! Very easy and very tasty. My older daughter does not care for leftovers but she had some more today for lunch. Its great to have a recipe that is not only tasty but good for us too. Thanks Ellie!

It doesn't look like the best thing in the world but it tastes so good! I made some and froze it.

The snow is falling and the inside of my home smells like I never want to leave, this chili smells so good. I had a turkey breast to use up and used it with the recipe this time. I have also used the ground. Can not wait. Thank you
