I haven't eaten pot pie since I was a kid. I saw this episode today, ran out to get the ingredients and cooked it tonight. The only change that I made was I added carrot. Next time I will add a little bit more seasoning to the meat and will reduce the broth by just a bit to make it a little thicker. Fantastic!

I make this recipe for my family all the time. It's so much better than buying chicken pot pie's at the grocery store that are mostly crust. This gives you just enough crust to feel satisfied.

but a lot of chopping! I chopped up the veggies on a monday evening and then built & baked the pies on a tuesday evening. My husband really enjoyed them for dinner.

I was a little hesitate to make this due to the light cooking. But to my amazement it not was only light but extremely tasty. This will recipe will replace the old recipe. One Thing I did different was that I cooked the whole chicken breasts and then cut them up in chunks. Great recipe Ellie!

One of the simpliest and best comfort foods- guilt free. This dinner is packed with good, healthy ingredients- I made mine with turkey breast instead of chicken and still delicious! A great recipe to cook up ahead of time, freeze/refridgerate and then just pop in the oven when you're ready!

Good, but phyllo dough turned out a little soggy (I used 5 layers instead of 3. And the individual bowls are hard to find/work with. Tasted pretty good though for my kids who are allergic to milk/eggs/peas - so we used substitutes.

I really enjoyed this recipe. It was easy to make and had a great flavor. I am not a great fan of green beans so next time will will substitute additional celery and some carrots.

Well, I personally HATE peas and that really ruined the recipe for me. If I had made the CPP then I would have taken the peas out. and plus it was kind of soggy. Otherwise it was really good.
