I tried this when I was expecting guests for dinner. Bad time to try a new recipe, right? EVERYONE LOVED IT!!! I added some portabello mushrooms (cuz I love mushrooms and I tried (also for the first time fresh mozzarella (the water soaked balls. This lasagna was very, very good. I love the red sauce and there's enough to make something else with it too! Let's see what else Emeril has using this red sauce...

I have been trying to find the "perfect" lasagna recipe for quite some time. I've found some good ones, but NONE can beat this! This is hands down simply the best!

I made this recipe to take to my mother in law's for New Year's Eve. We all loved it. Will definitely make it again.
There was not a crumb let after we had it again on New Year's Day. Thank you for such an easy delicious recipe.

This was the best recipe for lasagna that I've ever tried. I normally add or take away from a recipe to make to my own taste. I followed this one to a "t" and it came out marvelous. Everyone wanted the recipe before they left the dinner!! Thanks Emeril!

I tried this recipe- it was my first lasagna- which I was making for my husband, a favorite of his. It was A LOT of food for the two of us and I thought for sure we'd have to freeze some...well there were no left overs! This was really yummy and easy to make.

I've made this recipe at least twenty times for casual diner parties, potlucks, or just family meals. It never fails, it always turns out great. This is the only "lasagna with meat-sauce" recipe I use.
