I have prepared this recipie several times for different groups of family and friends. ALL thought it was the best lasagna they have ever tased in their lives... "You ought open a restaurant" was the usual response. After years of wishing, I am now opening a pizzeria and italian restaurant... wish me luck....

This recipe was amazing. Very simple to put together with professional results. I was amazed that I was able to put something like this together as easily as I did. Perfect for a group of students. You will really impress people with this one.
* i substituted the beef for a pound of a ground beef/pork/veal mix. I had no idea these even existed till now but it's well worth the extra effort it takes to seek it out at your local supermarket because it makes the sauce taste even better.

The first time I made this, I couldn't believe how easy it really is to make. I share this with friends who don't cook but would like to and I know they will have a success to share.

This is my all-time favorite recipe for sauce and for Lasagna. It is always delicious and I get many compliments when I make it. You have to try it.

I changed the recipe a bit by processing artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, basil and garlic into my ricotta cheese, but the recipe was easy and yummy! The uncooked noodles came out perfectly!

My favorite thing about this recipe is that it sticks to the basics - that way it's easy to "spruce it up" with your own homemade touches. I love serving it to guests. One of the very first recipes I learned by heart!

Have served this over and over again... has become a family favorite.... I serve a large square over a 1/2 cup of sauce on plate... garnished with cheese and italian herbs...
I usually add more essence in the meat sauce for some added flavor...
