Perfect dish for Mardi Gras or Super Bowl parties! Everybody raves about how tasty it is and wants the recipe. The grits are amazing!

This recipe was amazing. The Grits were smooth. We added a bit more cheddar and a bit more sausage for a stronger flavor. We also substituted Shrimp for Crawfish. IEverybody LOVED it. Definitely cook this for your family.

I served this for a brunch, and it was a huge hit!! Everyone asked for the recipe. You could almost serve this in a larger form for a lunch. If you don't catch it before you cook this, please note the onions are not 12 cups...it should say 1/2 cup:

I used my coworkers as guinea pigs for this recipe. It was incredible. They all said that it didn't taste homemade, rather like a 4 star restaurant. The only thing I did different was I poured the grits into a 9x13 pan and chilled it, then cut into squares.

I also substituted shrimp for crawfish and pepper jack cheese for cheddar. It was a huge hit. I served it with roasted yellow squash and roasted pablano peppers stuffed with fresh salsa and sour cream. Definitely not a 30 minute meal but worth the effort.

This recipe is awsome. There are a number of steps but well worth it. When I prepare this we feel as if we're dining out.

I know my grits because I am a Girl Raised In The South.

This recipe is so good you could eat it separately or together. The andouille cheese grits are great as is, as well as the crawfish sauce. I substituted shrimp when I had trouble finding crawfish. I took this recipe to work and people that had never had grits before loved it.
