Love the flavor of this dish when I had it at a restaurant once, but it took 2-3 attempts to do it right myself. The recipe is seemingly simple, but requires skill and experience to execute it properly. The first time, I cooked the garlic a little too long before throwing the pasta into the pan. Understandably it did not turn out well. After that, I fine tuned the heat and timing and everything came out right.

Love this recipe! It's surprisingly easy to make. Not sure what the folks who claim this recipe has no flavor are doing wrong, especially since it's so easy to prepare. I have three teenagers who will eat the leftover pasta with nothing else. However, I find that it works well with seafood and fish -- especially salmon. I did not see the TV episode when this dish was prepared, but I will definately try it with parley and parmesan next time.

I normally stay up late and one night I strongly craved "angel hair" pasta! So I came across this recipe and thought it would be perfect. It was ok, as in I wouldn't not eat it but had no flavor other than a little spiciness from the chili flakes. I gave it 3 stars because of its easiness/quickness.

I cooked shrimp along with the garlic and red pepper flakes in the olive oil. I also added Parmesan cheese after I added the pasta. Very delicious... I plan to add this recipe to my repertoire.

I fully enjoyed this dish. It has a little spiciness but not to much. I will try it with some anchovies, parmesan, and chopped parsley next time. Very easy to prepare. Way to go, Emeril

I love pasta, but some of the recipes are so involved and have so many steps and ingredients. Emerill really scored with this one. It is quick, easy and has tons of flavor. This one is a keeper. The network printing of the recipe does not include the parmasean and parsley. They really enhance, but it is excellent without them as well.

I made this for a quick dinner and was impressed. It's not too often that you can have that much flavor in something that cooks up so fast! I added the parmesan (suggested by the previous reviewer, but didn't have any parsley. Add both, if you have them on hand.

Talk about quick and easy and so good! I was very impressed with how simple but yet how delicious this was. Great for those that like pasta. This is not listed on the recipe, but during the show Emeril added for garnish some parsley and parmesean cheese. That really added some more flavor as well.
