That is the best apple crisp! I like the liquid part poured over the apples very very good!

This was THE BEST apple crisp I have ever made! The 'liquid mixture' makes an awesome sauce.

Simple to make and turned out REALLY good. When I first mixed the topping, I thought it seemed like too much flour, but once it bakes and you scoop it into your bowl, it soaks up the juices and is the best part of the dessert! The amount of the nutmeg and cinnemon was perfect, not overpowering in the least. It's a great recipe I will continue to make.

I used dark brown sugar instead of light & Cortland apples. I served it hot out of the oven with vanilla bean ice cream. This was probably the best apple crisp I've ever eaten.

Emril does it again, as far as cooking goes loved this recipe. My Boyfriend said it was the best crisp he has ever had. I also put the local resturant to shame!

This was a pregnancy craving so I am extremely happy that it was so easy and so good! I loved that the ingredients were ones that I always have on hand, even my regular apples did the trick. My favorite part was not having to mess around with cooking the apples and sauce on the stove before putting it in the oven. This is one recipe I am keeping!

I was looking for a great recipe for an apple crisp that had the oatmeal in it. This really hit the spot.
