Maybe it's something I did, but it was more work than a traditional crisp and I don't think it was as good. Seemed too floury or something. I liked the saucy part, but not the "crisp".

So easy to make. There seemed to be more topping than needed. When I make it again I will use more apples and less topping. Very sweet-could also cut back on sugar. This is very good for your sweet tooth.

This is so easy to make and prepare! I wish all recipes were this easy to put together. This is such a versatile dish, you can eat it cold in the summer and warm in the winter. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys apples!

You don't have to change a thing about this recipe it's absolutely delicious as it is. The apples, spices, and crispy topping are a great treat that you don't have to feel bad about eating and it is simple to make.

However I added lemon juice and pecans to the recipe and served it topped with french vanilla icecream for added tang and contrast.
