I really liked this one. I've made it twice and it turned out great both times! The puff pastry recipe is really good but remember that it makes about five times more than what you need for the measured amount. I make it larger in a bigger frying pan, but like I said, it's really not too hard. I think it's only rated difficult because the puff pastry takes about 7 hours to make right. After making it I keep the extra dough in the freezer for anything - It works great!

I can cook, I cannot bake, so making any kind of dessert that does not come in a box eludes me. This comes out perfect for me every time (although I use frozen puff pastry, not pressing my luck there. Easy, and tasty. Thanks, Emeril!

Used frozen puff pastry but it was still really good and relatively easy. I'm sure I'll be making it again very soon.

I actually only tried the puff pastry part of this recipe, but it was great! I have tried and failed at puff pastry before, but this was much simpler and actually worked. I was very excited. One thing I did differently was beat the butter with the paddle attachment in my kitchenaid (after refrigerating the kitchenaid just prior to wrapping it in dough so it was pliable throughout.
