Very easy and very good tasting. :D My boyfriend is a cook himself and he is was very nervous I was going to mess it up. Needless to say, he was very happy.

Easy and soooo good. An amazing layering of flavors to compliment the pork chop and apples. I used provolone cheese as it was what I had.

This dish was suprisingly easy to make. That said, I would probably never have made it if a friend hadn't given me some St. Andre cheese. (*Thanks* I made it for Sunday lunch. I prepped all the veggies and made the Essence the night before. It all came together very fast Sunday afternoon. Everything was delicious. My kids (3,1 both ate the Lentils!
I did follow the other users in the temp department. My oven wouldn't go up to 550, so I started the chops at 500 and added 5 minutes to the first round. Then I dropped it to 350 for the final 15. I found the cheese slid off because my chops were heaped a bit full. I will probably try to use Brie the next time, as I've heard it's a little cheaper.

Like many of the other reviewers, I thought the cooking temperature and times were too high. I broiled the chops for about 15 minutes, then reduced the heat to 350 and cooked for another 10 minutes and they were perfect, juicy and tender. The stuffing flavor is fantastic. We changed the flavor slightly by using cheddar on top, which complemented the flavor of the apples really well. Will definitely make again and again!

I did not bake them I put them on the grill and added the cheese at the very end. They turned out fabulous on the grill.

We loved this recipe!!! I did adjust it a bit, I replaced the walnuts with Pecans, and used Brie instead of St. Andres - but regardless, it was AMAZING!!! My husband and I loved this!!! Beware not to overcook the Lentils (they were great, my husband even liked them! And ENJOY!!!! It is easy - promise!
