I just made this for my superbowl party. What a hit with everyone there. Wasn't sure what he meant for cayenne pepper, but I used about six shakes of tabasco. What a great flavor that added to the recipe. I also used 2% milk, and instead of two cans of artichokes hearts, I used one can of regular artichokes hearts and one jar of marinated artichokes hearts (drained. It was absolutely delicious!!!

The worst part was that the prep. time was at least double, not to mention the baking time, which was more than double. It took 2 large saute pans, 1 large mixing bowl and a baking dish to prepare. Way too much clean up. I also question the use of Jack Cheese in this particular recipe. It should have been mozzarella if anything.

This is so much better than every other spinach dip I have had. It was so creamy! As Emeril always says 'oh yeah, babe!" Loved it, recommend it to anyone!!!

This is just as good or even better then the spinach and artichoke dips you get at any restaurant. I highly recommend. However I didn't fry my own chips, I used veggies and bought tortilla chips for dipping. Just as good.

I gave this one five stars but I gave my actual dip I made a 3.5 ;. I first burned the flour and oil because it said heat on medium...so I had to start over and keep it on low. It turned out great but I went a little crazy on the Cayenne pepper and added way too much. Hey, I'm still learning. But it was delish despite the Cayenne. ALSO, SAVE TIME by using FROZEN SPINACH (thaw it and drain it well. I didn't make my tortilla chips either. Sorry Emeril, some of us don't have the time!

This is the best hot dip I have ever had. I used to love the ones I would get when we went out to eat now none of them compare to what I make at home.

I have not tried the recipe yet, but just like Pavlov's dogs, I salivated just watching Emeril prepare it.
