This has been my go-to appetizer recipe for years, the cayenne gives it just enough kick and it's super tasty! For an added touch go to the bakery get a big round loaf and serve the dip inside, the presentation is unbeatable!

I made this on Christmas Eve and was looking for something really decadent. I made it ahead of time and was not happy with how it tasted when it was finished. I stuck pretty closely to the recipe, using olive oil instead of vegetable and a mix of italian cheeses. Luckily I put it into the fridge for a few hours. Once it was time to serve I squeezed in a bunch of lemon juice to brighten it up, that was really the ticket I think. I recommend letting it sit a while.

As good as it gets! Added some fresh snow crab the second time I made this. Right at the end before the final bake. It was extra delicious, but just as the recipe is written is fantastic!
