I was really disappointed in this spinach dip. I added five times the amount of cheese to try to make the dip even tastier and I still thought the dip tasted bland. I had an easier recipe at home I should have just stuck with which is a lot more satisfying.

We made this recipe before having some friends over, and the prep is definitely a little complicated -- I wouldn't recommend making this if you're in a hurry or have a lot of other dishes to prepare! Otherwise, we prepared it exactly as recommended in the recipe and we tasted it just before it was ready to go into the oven. We both thought it needed more cheese, so we doubled the recommended amount for both cheeses. It tasted great and everyone liked it, but I think I'll try making other artichoke and spinach dips before coming back to make this again.

This recipie was delicious! The prep time took a bit longer than the recipie stated, but it was worth the time and effort. We served it with cut veggies instead of chips and it worked really well.

I can't say enough about this recipe. It was a little time consuming, but very easy to make. I forgot to chop the spinach before adding to the cheese sauce, so I transfered everything into my food processor and the problem was solved. I left out the artichoke (husband's personal preference, added crab, and served in a bread bowl (this recipe is enough for two bread bowls. Literally, this dip was gone within 5 minutes of me setting them down on the table. The cayanne pepper added a pleasent kick to the dip. I'm craving it as I type. If you like spinach dip, try this one, you will not be disappointed.

this was very good but it was a little dry - part of it is because the "diet" ricotta is not quite as creamy as the regular stuff - for a lite dip this is excellent. I substituted panko for the bread crumbs which worked nicely but does not brown quite as quickly in the oven.
