My lamb chops were alway so boring and tastless, but these were absolutely delicious! My husband I and have plans to invite friends over so they can enjoy this meal too. I'm definitely going to try the potatoes, which I know will go fantastic with the lamb too.

    Thank you, Emeril.

Your recipe for Emeril's Haricots Verts is way off. Just watched this episode yesterday and I know he added onions to the string beans and let them steam. There was no ice bath involved. Please see if you obtain the correct recipe. Thank You,
    Ann

I have made this entire meal two times and it turned out GREAT! My husband loved every single bite. The lamb chops were extremely flavorful and the scalloped potatoes were sinfully delicious. This is a terrific meal to make for any special occasion...You won't be disappointed.

My whole family loves the lamb chops! I get tired of the basic mint chops' recipes and this was a very different option. The chop is rich so I would suggest not adding too much extra breading. I also used Garlic Olive Oil in the breading to save a step. The recipe also didn't say the temperature of the oven and I wanted our chops with no red as we have small kids. So I cooked it at 350 for 12 minutes and 400 another 10 (plus the 2 on broil. It was perfect, not overdone at all. I did not make the Syrup, however, just the basic chop and I served mine with fried okra which was a great color contrast. Enjoy!

I served this for my Christmas dinner guests. I am not sure if I did something wrong but the Barolo wine syrup never quite made it to "syrup". I reduced it for over 90 mins. The chops themselves were wonderful. a huge holiday hit! You need to keep any eye on them because if you overdo them...it will not be good.
