It takes some work, these onions. But the nice thing is (and I do this whenever I make this recipe that I can bake the onions the day night before and then stuff them just before baking.

The onion parts that are removed are partly used to go into the stuffing mix, and some even go into my main dish (usually apricot chicken is made

Definitely worth the time and effort - this dish impresses my guests!

recipe was easy to prepare, but a little time consuming.
Dish was full of flavor but mild for those who are unable to tolarate spicy foods. This was a hit side dish for my family for the Christmas holiday meal

This recipe was great. The stuffing mixture has very good taste and the onions are sweet and delicious. Even though the difficulty is medium it was not that difficult to prepare. Prep and cook times are accurate.
