This is the first recipe I had ever used for banana bread, but it was so good that I don't find a need to find another. I did use 3 bananas instead of 2, but it was so delicious and moist. I love Emeril, so I thought he would be the person to try, and I was right.

So good! I added a tbsp more of shortening and used egg replacer since my son is allergic to eggs and it came out yummy!!

Overall taste was very good. I added 4 small bananas and 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla. I also made them into muffins (400 degrees for 17 mins, because the kids were hungry. I gave it a 4 star because the shortening seem to make the bread greasy vs moist.

This recipe is so easy, and it is the best banana bread I've ever had. Even if you think you can't bake, you really can't go wrong with this one!

I just attended a Christmas party on Saturday afternoon. I used this recipe and it was my second time making the Banana Bread. It is very easy to make and tasty! I added tsp. and a half of honey to the batter for a little bit more flavor. I recevied many compliments about the texture and taste of the Banana Bread.

This was the easiest recipe I have ever used and it is delicious. Next time I will make some changes like maybe adding chocolate chips or I have made Cranberry Banana bread and it is really good too. The only problem I had was greasing and flouring the pans. Not only does it leave that little pasty look to the edges and bottom, but the first 4 loaves I made, they allllllllllllll stuck to the pan. Ruined. So I got some cooking spray and switched and all the breads after came out beautiful.

Every time i make banana bread/muffins i use this recipe! I do switch it up a bit by adding more mashed ripe bananas then it calls for to get a stronger, sweeter flavor. I also add a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar on top before i pop them into the oven. The recipe has an amazing flavor and it's so easy!

This is a very good Banana Bread, I doubled the recipe and left out the nuts. I hate breads with nuts. I placed them both in the same time in a glass bread loaf. After setting the timer to 30 min. both loafs were darker then I had expected. So I turned down the oven to 300 and baked the rest of the way. Taste great with a little crunch.
