    1 stick of butter = 8 tbsp = 1/2 cup = 4 oz = 113g

I like the recipe, had a hard time doing a conversion of the butter. Is ten tablespoons about one cube of butter?

Mmmmmm! I didn't use walnuts because I didn't have any and used three bananas. It was wonderful.

I took the suggestion of other reviews and added cinnamon and nutmeg and an additional banana and also cut the cook time down to roughly 57 minutes. This was my first attempt and making banana bread but I would probably recommend to begin watching the bread around the 50 minute mark. When I popped it out of the oven it was a little bit more on the burnt side. While this did taste good, I am going to continue looking around for another recipe. To my preference the bread was a little bit more on the dryer side.

I really enjoyed your comment!! I am just like you in the sense I don't have all of those things in my cupboard. I wasn't sure if I should make it because I didn't have all those things but since you said it turns out so yummy I will make some right now! Thank you!! (:

This was good, but it could be better. I used room temperature butter and baked it for about 10 minutes short of the recommended baking time and it was fairly moist. The overall flavor is good but it could use some cinnamon.

This was my first time making banana bread, and it turned out great. I didn't have any walnuts in the pantry or cake flour, but regular flour worked just fine. Also I used margarine instead of butter to cut down on the fat (and again because I didn't have any, and the bread was still wonderful!

This is an easy and awesome banana bread! It was moist with a little taste of grandma's kitchen. My kids and friends enjoy this as a great treat!!
