This banana bread recipe is a keeper! I always use all-purpose flour to get the more loaf-like texture. And I use about 2 1/2 bananas.

I was looking for a new receipe that would have more flavor than my old one. However, this is not it! I normally eat banana bread without anything on it. This one required to be eaten with peanut butter because butter alone did not offer enough flavor. Yuck!

I LOVE this recipe. I've made so many banana breads I've had to actually try to make up my own. This is so fluffy - almost a cake - DELICIOUS.

I've made lots of banana bread recipes in my time but this is the best one ever! I did make some changes though. I use 8 Tb butter instead of 10. One stick of butter equals 8 Tb so I figured that's enough. I also used cooking spray instead of the extra butter to grease the pan. To those of you who tried the recipe but thought it wasn't sweet enough or lacked taste, make sure the bananas you use are really, really ripe with black skins. Almost to the point that they look like you should just throw them out. That's the time to use them for baking Because they are very sweet.

The recipe was very good except i to had thought the recipe called for 2 and 3/4 tablespoons of sugar also,it should have been clearly listed in cups, either way it wasn't to sweet but still very good.

I was not pleased with this recipe. I found it not very flavorful and came out a little dry. I tried it because a reviewer said it was not too sweet. I do not care for sweets so thought it would be terrific. Because it has possibilities I will try it again, though. Maybe add another banana and a little more sugar, not enough to make it "too" sweet.

I've made a lot of banana bread. This one is great! I substituted the cake flour with half all-purpose flour & half wheat flour. It came out great. I will difinitely make again but with more bananas.
