YES! This is the best banana bread recipe. When I read that this recipe said to use sour cream I got scared but I love it.

Is the BEST banana bread recipe I have ever made. Only added pecans instead of walnuts. Helpful hint: It is a must that your bananas be very ripe for the right sweetness.

I loved the results of this recipe. It is moist, and has a delicate consistency. The banana flavor is subtle. I halved the nuts, as I am not a nut lover. It was perfect for my taste.

I don't bake very often, but when I do it is usually to make Emeril's banana bread. It is amazingly soft and the recipe is fool proof. Its a great way to use left over bananas.

Delicious. I really like this. I had to make a few changes because I didn't have vanilla or cake flour. So I substituted almond extract for the vanilla. For the cake flour I substituted 1 3/4 flour plus 1/4 cup corn starch sifted together (actually I used a whisk to blend to make the 2 cups of cake flour substitute and 3 bananas instead of two. I only had to cook mine for 1 hour. Really good, very moist. I'm quite happy with this recipe. I was getting a bit bored with my old recipe.

Very moist and easy to make. I used pecans instead of walnuts because I like them better; other than that, I followed the recipe and it was great!
