This was not at all difficult to make and it was absolutely awesome! I took it took work and really impressed everyone I work with. The chocolate, caramel, whipped cream, bananas and custard all combined into one bite is amazing!!!

This is the most amazing banana cream pie! I brought it over to a family member's gathering and everyone still raves about it.
I added/changed 2 things ... I melted chocolate and added it to the graham cracker crust as a layer. Also, I used cinnamon graham crackers.
Does anyone have any tips to getting the crust to not fall apart when you cut the pieces?

This is so elegant & incredible. Don't be fooled by the name. This is no diner banana cream pie. It's so fresh & yet decadent. We served at a dinner party to drop dead awesome reviews. It's a wonderful surprise!

this cake is fantastic, my family don't particularly enjoy desserts, but they tried this one because it was my sister's birthday...and they finished the entire cake!
highly recommend it (though the crust can be a little thicker. enjoy!

Wonderful recipe. Just make sure you leave enough time for the pie to set. I was on a time crunch and tried to cut a little time off and the custard was not completely set...which was totally my fault. But great pie!

I'm not a big banana cream pie fan, that being said this pie is truly amazing.
My family had a piece of this at Emeril's restaraunt and I immediately came home and looked for the recipe.
It's a bit of work making the pie and the sauces but when combined at the end..it's truly worth every bit of the work.
If you want to make something impressive...this is the recipe!
