    This recipe combines two of my favorites. I did not make the caramel sauce, but it is great even without it. I would highly recommend this recipe. You can't go wrong with this dessert.

    I made this recipe for a Christmas Day buffet and it received rave reviews all around. Even people who don't eat desserts had seconds! I substituted store-bought eggnog for the milk because I happened to have a surplus of it. I skipped the sauce and ice cream (which I think would make it too sweet and served it warm with a bit of sweetened whipped cream on the side.

    easy to follow recipe and watching Emeril make this it was a snap!
    I substituded rum extract for the alcohol and it was outstanding! The carmel sauce was lusious!!!! never made carmel sauce from scratch before, what a difference from the store bought carmel. served it for thanksgiving dessert; was a hit with the whole family! I definately will make again!

    Whewwww...Bananas Foster Bread Pudding..what a show stopper..everyone loved watching and loved eating this even better. A winner for sure.
