Marinate overnight, then in the morning put in the slow cooker over low heat with about half of the basting sauce. Cook all day about seven to eight hrs. Meat will be tender, well seasoned and can easily be pulled apart. If children will be eating this I suggest cutting back on the vinegar and red pepper flakes.

I just loved this recipe! I think that it is the best pulled pork that I have ever had. Worth the effort.

I didn't do the fried pickles or the cole slaw, but the pulled pork was to die for. I once drove 300 miles for a bbq pork sandwitch I remember from my childhooh, this was better

I made this for a barbecue we had with a few friends we hadn't seen in a while and it was a hit! I still hear about how great the sandwiches were!! The coleslaw was also a definite winner!

Just the right zing, flavor and eastcoast appeal that everyone should try. We have been waiting and it has been worth the wait, to experience the traditional barbeque pork with coleslaw sandwich. Many Thanks!
