This was a big hit for our families Fourth of July cookout. I also put this in the slow cooker to have more time with the family in the pool. The bbq sauce is nicely flavored and not over powering. The cole slaw has been requested several more times for other family events. It's a perfect combination of creamy and tangy. I did double the ingredients except for the cabbage and the celery seeds.

I make this recipe in the crock every time I make it. I have never made it in the oven. I rub the meat with the dry rub and then I pour all the mop sauce into the crock pot. My fiance craves this pulled pork. I made it for our engagement party and everyone loved it. I made this when I lived in Florida for my daughters preschool potluck. A woman asked me is I was from North Carolina because she was from there. She said it tasted exactly like the pulled pork from N.C. I've made this about 50 times in the last 7 years and it's a keeper! Thanks Emeril!

This was absolutely the WORST cole slaw recipe ever! Too sour, too bitter, too much mustard and the celery seeds made the whole thing really gritty. Ick! I would have left no stars if that was possible.

The ratings were high thought I try this recipe..I followed it exactly. The pork came out dry and tried to pull it apart but ended up slicing it.. My thought was that maybe it should've been covered the whole time so it could steam.. Tomorrow I will continue to cook it but in the crockpot..We did eat the sliced pork in a sandwich, it came tasted good but it wasnt the texture I was expecting..

I use this sause all the time. I mostly use ti as a base and add things like peach perserves instead of brown sugar. I won a bbq contest in S.C. a couple years ago with this mop rub and sauce. Good stuff

This is the BEST pulled pork recipe!! I make it in the oven like the recipe says then put it into a crock pot on low after it's pulled, so it stays warm and everyone can help themselves. I heat the sauce in a pan so the sugar dissolves.....my husband especially likes snacking on the leftovers!

I made this in the slow cooker and it came out perfect. I followed the recipe to a T. Everything was awesome! The slaw and bbq sauce was great! I didnt have any leftovers. That was my only downer.
