I didn't make the pork with this recipe as the slow cooker recipe I have cannot be beat for taste and easiness. I made the slaw and BBQ sauce for my daughters b-day party. I really enjoyed the slaw as I am not a huge fan of cole slaw drowned in mayo and sugar. It was sweet but not too sweet. I did add a bit of fresh lemon juice though. The BBQ sauce was not great but ok. I thought it need something more. I couldn't put my finger on it. I did end up heating it on the stove to dissolve the brown sugar. I think that helped it. The 1996 Tennessee winning BBQ sauce ( Music City Pig Pals found on Food Network was much better tasting to me and my guests. I give slaw 5 stars and sauce 3 stars

I use the "Tailgator's" dry rub, but love this recipe for the wet mop and BBQ sauce.
Huge crowd favorite. People think I am an incredible cook, but I don't tell them how fool-proof it really is.

I cna't believe how good this is. I tend to stay away from pork. I don't usually like it. However this is great. I made it for a family party and everyone loved it, Including me. I have made it several times over the past few years. It can't get much better. and the cole slaw dreesing works great for asalad dressing with crunchy chow mien noodles.

Our family has enjoyed this recipe for a few years. It's something we like to prepare ,especially mid -winter to make our home feel like a summer BBQ!Definately one of MY all-time favs.Fun to prepare, let the kids rub and wet mop and enjoy the smells for hours!Be warned, you may want to find the biggest pork butt available,as this is a versitile leftover(pulled pork salad w/black beans, corn, avacado etc...creamy ranch or chipotle vinagrette, don't forget wraps for the kids-they will be the envy of their classmates at lunch!!!ENJOY

I have been making this pork for a long time and it is a hit. My son hosted a frisbee golf tournament here last year and asked if I would make 4 pork roast for the sandwichs and he was grilling burgers. To say the least, the pulled pork went first and they had to settle for the burgers.LOL
