Emeril's recipe is very easy & tastes great. I don't use lard because I don't ever have it. I use Crisco shortening. I usually refrigerate the left over dough & make pizza rolls "biscuits".

Emeril's dough recipe is quite simple. It is a simple step-by-step process and it's quite easy to understand.
