    After having jerky from different makers, I decided to make my own. This recipe is simple and tasty.

    Everyone begs me to make this one. I use a food dehydrator and it's fine. You can also play around and be creative with the seasonings....liquid smoke is the secret!! Everyone who comes over and has had this always asks "when are you making that again 'cause I want some". I finally had to ask people to buy their own steak and give it to me and I would make them a batch. It gets expensive providing everyone with jerky made from steak but they love ya for it. Now, they pay me to buy the meat so I'll make it for them!! Not a bad way to make friends!!! :

    My friends mom made this for our trip to New Mexico. We couldn't stop eating the jerky even when we were full to bursting.
