Please note that the recipe calls for the noodles to be cooked before combining with the casserole.

Too much liquid or bland? I agree with the other posters that these reviewers need to invest in measuring cups. This was great. My husband ate every bite!

I thought this dish would be a little "creamier" like most stroganoff recipes I have had in the past. It was pretty bland. I used extra seasoning which helped the meat flavor a bit, but as far as the noodles go, it was not what I expected.

Was late getting home, so needed to make something quick before hubby took off for work! This was great! I tweaked it a little by adding 1/4c red-wine with the beef broth. Topped off the dinner with a nice lettuce edge and rolls and we were good! Thanks for this easy and fast recipe!

This was my first time using the Essence seasoning. It was amazing! The flavor exceeded my expectations. I partially boiled the noodles first before adding it to everything else because I knew that the noodles wouldn't get as soft as I like them. And after this one recipe, I've been hooked on emeril ever since.

I was disappointed in this one Emeril! There was very little flavor.

Followed the recipe as written with two exceptions: 1 Par-cooked the pasta knowing it would finish cooking when added to the other ingredients (as in other baked, etc. pasta dishes. As the recipe stipulates that the pasta be cooked I don't understand some of the complaints about hardness, I would have thought there would be more about mushiness.
2 Added the broth, let it reduce slightly, then added the pasta and sour cream and heated it through. Pasta was done right, nothing soupy, and the flavor was fine. I always taste and adjust while I am cooking. This a recipe that you can adapt to your own spice favorites.

The noodles in mine didn't get done ,I could them for like 25 min. Other than that everything else was great.I changed it a little bit and added some mushroom soup and melted parmesan cheese on the top ,and then put several dollops of sour cream! It wasn't the best ,but it was still pretty good! :

I put my own spin on this recipe and used my crockpot! I used 1 1/2 lbs of ground beef and cooked it in 12' skillet with some EVOO, pat of butter, salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Drained the beef and put back in skillet. In smaller skillet I browned 1 med. onion, (chopped fine with some EVOO and a pat of butter. I combined the both in 12' skillet.
I then mixed in seperate bowl, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup w/ 3/4 cup of milk. To the soup I added 1 can of beef broth mixing well.
I then combined the liquid mixture with the beef in skillet mixing well. I added 1 bag of medium egg noodles to the skillet and stirred well, coating all of the noodles. Everything then went into my crockpot! I made sure that all noodles were covered in soupy liquid. I placed crockpot on low setting and within a few hours my house smelled wonderful and I had a delicious meal. I did mix in some sour cream to taste and sprinkled some cheese before serving. This was a very easy recipe for me as I am busy mom!
Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family did!
