    I'm definitely no Emeril but I followed this recipe to the latter and I have never tasted something so delicious in my entire life it was literally was like heaven in my mouth I almost cried when it was gone!!!!!

    I've always wanted to make a beef wellington, but thought it would be too complicated. This was an excellent recipe and much easier than I thought!! The only problem I had was the recipe did not say where to add the chopped garlic and also did not say how to make the port wine syrup. Fortunately, the choices I made worked.....may not have been what Emeril intended...but tasted great!!

    This recipe is hard to prepare but the results are quite good. However it will require a sophisticated taste.

    The puff pastry didn't puff enough. I think I might have rolled it out too thinly. I'll try it again.
