This recipe is very easy to make. The beignets poofed up and were very light in texture. I recommend this recipe to everyone.

They came out too dense - perhaps they don't need to be rolled out? Also I don't think they were quite sweet enough. Maybe just a little bit more sugar.

This was the first time I've made this. It was awesome! I used the Cafe du Monde Coffee, and it tasted great. The beignets were good, but I undercooked some of them so they were a little doughy.

This was super easy to make. It was very tasty, and a huge hit. I changed it up a bit and topped mine with cinnamon sugar, but that's just because me and my friends have a serious case of the sweet tooth. We loved this recipe, and I know I will make it again.

I used cake flour, and this turned out so light and delicious. I'm getting into calorie trouble over this recipe.

I made these as an early Mardi Gras treat for my husband. The only thing I would change in this recipe is perhaps adding a little more salt -- brings out the sweetness better. We couldn't eat all of those delicious beignets, so I put some of the leftover cut dough in the refrigerator. The next day I put the pieces of dough on a cookie sheet and baked them like dinner rolls. They turned out suprisingly well!

These beignets were a hit with friends of mine from New Orleans! The were pronounced authentic. Didn't do the cafe au lait because our friends always do that. This isn't that hard to make. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough. It makes it a lot easier. Use an electric fry pan to control the heat. It makes all the difference!
