I have never tasted any cookie as delicious as this. Everyone agrees and I've given the recipe too many times to remember. There is not a holiday or celebration that goes by that I don't make these.

I got this recipe from his Christmas cook book. There is no coconut or nutmeg in that version. I make those cookies every Christmas and everyone loves them. I substitute the pecans for mini chocolate chips for a niece that has a nut allergy. Both ways are great!
