Was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to put together and how good it tasted... immediately, a few hours later, and the next day.
I'm from the South, so it was a refreshing change from the typical boiled black eyed peas served every New Year.

Took it to my daughters cook-out, lots of women wanted the recipe. I had to admitt it was not my recipe, so I told them where it find it. Took my bowl home empty
