    I substituted cardamom for the cinnamon and this was out of this world. I can't wait to make it again.

    Chalk up another home run for Emeril. The flavors in this dish are superb. Also, I would have rated it as easy to make, not medium.

    Delectable combination of flavors! The yummy pungent cheeses topped with the not too sweet compote is dreamy. Add the crunch of the walnuts and this appetizer
    does tease the taste buds and brings you back for more!

    This is a quick simple recipe that really plays on flavor combinations. The pear compote and spiced walnuts are amazing how they compliment and off set the brie and blue cheese quesadillas. We served this dish with champagne...it was amazing!
