The salad had a wonderful flavor. Next time I will cut the oil in half, it had too much oil in the dressing for my liking, but overall it was very good.

Made this for 6 adults and everyone left not a trace on the plate!!!! (Only substitution was a teaspoon regular spicy mustard to dressing.
This will become a regular in our salad rotation- amazing!!!!

This dressing gave me...an old woman...the closest reaction that only my husband has given me over the past 51 years! This salad dressing is terrific! In addition to a lettuce-type salad, I have used it on a warm potato salad, asparagus by itself, etc. I hope many others have similar taste buds as mine! Thanks Emeril. Annie, Fremont, CA

Made this salad (minus squash with romaine for a girls night out and it was a huge hit. We've done this many times as our favorite salad.

I use this dressing frequently. I dress baby spinach, with roasted red peppers and grilled shrimp and pour the dressing over it. I admit I really am not reviewing the recipe as stated but rather just the dressing and it is a huge hit!

I didn't love this salad, and I was surprised because I expected to. I like all the individual ingredients, so thought it would make a great combination. It just didn't work - the blue cheese and acorn squash didn't go together very well - and we used a very nice blue cheese. I much prefer a stuffed acorn squash with apples, cheese, and bread crumbs over this recipe.

I modified this recipe by leaving off the acorn squash and onion.
I used leafy romaine instead of the bibb lettuce.
I made it for a small dinner party and everyone said it was the best
salad they had ever eaten and I agree with them. YUMMY!!!

This has so many delicious ingredients in it and together it's darn near a meal in itself! Served this as a first course and some grilled tri-tip with twice baked potatoes. Nothing else was needed. I loved this salad -- perfect for Fall and Winter.

If you like a sweet and light dressing for your salad, this one will delight. Anything cooked in bacon fat rules for sure, as the flavor is outstanding. Easy to make and if you have youngersters at the table, they will enjoy this one!
