    But Matthew, did you make the cake? I did and thought the sponge cake was very dry and didn't even mosten up the 2nd day. The effort was huge for so little reward. I like the idea, though, and thought it made a great appearance. Maybe moisten the cake layers with a liquor or use a different cake recipe.
